A Mechanical Fitter is needed for a specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps, located near Peterlee.
The role involves dismantling, repairing, and fitting Diesel Pumps and Engines, alongside preventative maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Candidates should have previous experience in preventative maintenance on pumping equipment and knowledge of pumping machinery, ideally with an engineering qualification.
The position offers a salary of £15.35 per hour for a full-time, 39-hour workweek, with overtime available and 33 days of holiday including public holidays.
Applicants should have excellent organization and time management skills and be based within a commutable distance of Peterlee.

Mechanical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Dismantling, repair and fitting responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

Previous experience in Preventative maintenance on Pumping equipment
Knowledge and experience of Pumping machinery
Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ideally qualified in an Engineering discipline
Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

£15.35 per hour
Full time, 39-hour week
Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
Overtime Available
33 Days holiday including public holidays
