Electrical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Electrical Fitting, Maintenance and Testing responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.
Electrical Fitter Position Overview
- Working on Electrical systems in the company workshop
- Fault find, diagnosis and repair on a range of electrical equipment concerning Pumps, Valves and Engines
- Service and maintenance work on 3 phase power systems
- Disassembly and refitting of electrical components
- Fitting and testing of electrical components
Electrical Fitter Position Requirements
- Ideally qualified to HNC level in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Experience fitting a range of Electrical components to Engines, Pumps and / or Plant equipment
- Time served apprenticeship would be advantageous
- Full driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee
Electrical Fitter Position Remuneration
- 16.39 per hour
- Full time, 39-hour week
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
- Overtime Available
- 33 Days holiday including public holidays
- Pension
