NELT are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to join their central team.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation which provides huge scope for personal development, working alongside a small procurement team.In this role, you will work within a successful team that supports £20m spend over multiple categories including energy, catering, licensing, building maintenance, stationary and educational resources. As with all roles within the education sector, there is a great emphasis on utilising government frameworks for category aggregation as well as traditional tender methods with the ultimate goal of seeking best value for money for tax payers. This supports the key objective of the trust – securing better investment and security of education for their students. You will be working alongside experienced procurement colleagues and be fully supported by a management team that embeds good procurement practice throughout the trust.
