Key Responsibilities of a Peripatetic Manager:
Work across multiple homes to drive improvement, implementing and leading action plans.
Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to home managers and teams, ensuring sustainable change.
Assess and improve care planning, medication management, and leadership structures.
Support homes with regulatory compliance and quality standards.
Build strong relationships with teams, empowering them to take ownership of improvement.
Work closely with the Regional and Quality Support teams to align improvement strategies.
Peripatetic Manager Requirements:
Proven experience with turnarounds, in the care home sector.
Proven experience in peripatetic, regional or multi-site roles.
Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and support teams.
Ability to diagnose challenges, create structured action plans, and drive results.
Knowledge of care planning systems, particularly PCS, is advantageous.
Benefits:
Salary: 67,200 per annum.
28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with service.
Mileage: 23p per mile
Fully covered overnight stays when required.
40-hour contract across five days per week with flexible working.
