- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the finance team
- Producing management accounts, including profit and loss, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Developing and producing monthly management information packs for the MD
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Liaising with external accountants during the year-end audit process
- Providing oversight of payroll for over 100 staff members
- Assisting with invoicing and reconciliations when necessary
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Controller / Finance Manager / Head of Finance / Senior Management Accountant
- Team management experience
- Strong understanding of financial processes, management reporting, and payroll oversight
- A mindset for continuous improvement and driving efficiencies
- Proficiency with Sage and Excel
