Eye4 Recruitment are working with a reputable client based in Petersfield, to recruit for an experienced Finance Assistant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers with high accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts, resolving any discrepancies swiftly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports in support of accountants.
- Phone Bank to get account activity & post accordingly on Sage
- Reconcile Cardnet payments
- Liase with Accountants re payroll & Revenue payments
Help with sales order processing
- Process VAT quarterly liaising with Accountants
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills
