About Our Client:
They offer remedial services including insurance repairs and housebuilder aftercare. This company employ experienced professionals who make sure defects and remedial works are completed to the highest of standards. You could be working on a National House Builder site one day and then in a private residence on insurance works another. They have a reputation that is revered among some of the top ten housebuilders. They have a vast pipeline of work and look after staff
The Role:
A Painter & Decorator is required due to an increase in work. You will typically be vising new build residential properties, either pre or post occupancy. Works could be small touch ups or repainting everything in full. You must be able to finish to a high standard, speed is not often the driving factor. You will need to work in a clean and tidy manor and be able to undertake some slightly different task. The main additional tasks could include Tape & Jointing and using Mastics. The company have plenty of work so whilst self-employed, this could be an ongoing role. You must be willing to travel up to 50 miles each way.
The Applicant:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience working as a Painter & Decorator
- The ability to under take Tape & Jointing
- The ability to Mastic
- A full UK driving License and access to a car/van daily and be willing to travel commutable distances
It is desirable to have:
- Qualifications within your trade.
- CSCS Card
