About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our skilled team at our modern factory inPetersfield. You will oversee a team of 2 skilled men and 3 apprentices, ensuring the efficient production of our confectionery machines made to our own drawings. This is a hands-on role where you will also contribute by planning work, ensuring materials are ordered, and maintaining high standards in both manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and plan the daily work of the team, ensuring work is done to the correct standards and within the agreed timeline.
  • Review and check drawings, advising on material requirements for each project.
  • Assist with welding (TIG) and manual machining when required.
  • Ensure the team is working efficiently and safely, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
  • Assemble and wire control panels in addition to building the machinery using both bought-in parts and fabricated components.
  • Manage the coordination of the workflow and communication between team members, ensuring timely delivery.
