Sales Executive / Client Account Manager who has previous internal sales experience with excellent customer service, organisational, administrative and time-management skills is required for a well-established company based in Petersfield, Hampshire.

ALL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED FULL PRODUCT TRAINING PROVIDED

Ideally you will have Business to Business / B2B experience selling into the construction industry. However, the company will consider candidates who have a previous internal sales background from other industries as they will provide full product training

SALARY: Very Competitive + Profit Related Bonus + Benefits (includes 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays, Pension and Profit Related Bonus)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Executive / Client Account Manager who has previous internal sales experience with excellent customer service, organisational, administrative and time-management skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive / Client Account Manager who wishes to progress and develop their career further, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, while working within and being part of the Branch Sales Office Team.

Working as the Sales Executive / Client Account Manager you will join a small team where you will manage incoming sales enquiries, prepare quotations and upsell additional products for predominantly Construction / Trade based clients.

As the Sales Executive / Client Account Manager you will also have the opportunity to build up your own client base where you will account manage them, support them on large construction projects providing quotes and information on product lines.

If youre self-motivated, have a background in sales, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with good communication and excellent customer service skills, this job could be for you.

It is a one-stop facility for civil engineering, building / construction companies, sportsground contractors, utilities contractors and agricultural companies, specialising in supplying plastic drainage, ducting, and associated items.

DUTIES

Your duties will include:

  • Provide an excellent customer experience, ensuring your clients are fully supported with their enquiries, quotes and purchases
  • Keep systems, order forms and other documents fully updated and carry out a range of administrative duties with a high level of accuracy
  • Use your sales skills to think on your feet about how to respond effectively to customer enquiries
  • Support your colleagues and build effective relationships within the team and across all departments
  • Manage customer enquiries across all product lines (full product training provided)
  • Seek out new opportunities and increase orders by upselling where possible
  • Work closely and support client projects from enquiry to order to delivery
  • Maximise margin and net profit wherever possible
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing trade and retail customers

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have previous internal sales experience
  • Will need excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers and prospects
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerate with the ability to calculate quotes
  • Construction industry experience preferred. Although not essential
