Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop an innovative menu which reflects the premium offering of the pub.
- Ensure consistency and quality is reflected in every dish from preparation to presentation.
- Maintain and develop an efficiently run kitchen which strictly adheres to health and safety legislation.
- Adhere to strict costing procedures for each dish to ensure GP targets are met or exceeded.
- Motivate train and develop the team.
Key Requirements
- Likely to be an existing Head Chef ,or at least an experienced Sous Chef, in a high quality kitchen.
- A passion for producing high quality dishes using the finest fresh local ingredients and delivering seasonal dishes which burst with flavour
- Strong leadership and motivational skills .
- Committed to maintaining the highest standards in everything you do.
- Experienced in delivering cost effective and creative menus for parties and events
- Able to commit full time to the pub opening days-Wednesday to Sunday.
