We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to become a key part of a growing business that values timely, professional service. This role is essential in ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and with exceptional customer service.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (with flexability)
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Location: Malborough
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to multiple locations daily, following planned routes and schedules.
- Safely load and unload items, taking care to prevent damage.
- Perform routine vehicle checks before and after trips, reporting any issues promptly.
- Represent the company with professionalism and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Key Skills and Experience
- Full UK driving license (Category B or higher, as required).
- Previous experience in a delivery driver role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of handling and lifting heavy items (manual handling training provided).
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work overtime when required.
