An exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join this expanding family business with enormous potential for growth and progression.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based role with parking.

Responsibilities for the Accountant include acting as the foundation of the companys bookkeeping operation, monitor all account transactions and check all outgoing and incoming funds. The Accountant will be the key lead to the business for accounts, payroll, and broad support to the business.

Other duties and responsibilities the Accountant will be expected to undertake include:
Preparing and reviewing ledger balances and monthly accounts.
Completing data for the company tax returns.
Collate and prepare documentation for yearend accounts.
Function as operational contact with group accountants.
Preparing and submitting information for VAT returns and National Insurance contributions.
Managing overall companys expenses.
Maintaining and monitoring the companys financial systems.
Managing monthly company payroll & general account queries.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Maintaining a record of all receipts and payments.
Acting as a point of contact for all internal and external financial issues.
Hands on approach to making payments to customers and external businesses.

Requirements and skills to be successful as the Accountant are:-
Proven accounting experience and hold a CIMA qualification.
Have strong leadership skills.
Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
