The Best Connection are currently recruitingProduction Operativesfor a well-established company based in Pickering that supply the Automotive Industry.

The positions are temporary to permanent after a qualifying period (pay rate will increase on going permanent)and are due to start in August.

Duties of the role include:

The assembly of plastic car parts
Quality checking of products before they are passed to the next stage of the process
Operating press machines
Working in a very fast paced environment
Labelling and packing of parts
Ensuring you are always compliant with regards to Health & Safety procedures

The candidate:

Able to work shifts (both days and nights)
Reliable
Possess good English (Verbal & written) and be able to complete a literacy and numeracy test
Previous experience of Production/Machine Operating would be an advantage
Able to commit to long term work

Hours of work (must be able to commit to all three rotating shifts):

Week 1 (Days) - Wednesday to Friday 07.50am-20.00pm followed by two days off

Week 2 (Nights) - Monday to Wednesday 19.50pm-08.00am followed by four days off

Week 3 (Split Shifts) - Monday &Tuesday 07.50am-20.00pm followed by one day off; Thursday and Friday 19.50pm-08.00am followed by four rest days

Pay Rates:

First 12 weeks 12.00 per hour basic rate
Overtimepaid at 16.80 per hour
After a qualifying period of 12 weeks basic rate increases to 12.50 per hour
