Candidates should have a degree or equivalent in engineering and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
The position offers a permanent contract with a salary dependent on experience, working the night shift from 22:00 to 08:00 in Pickering.

Ensure the calibration system is in adherence to the systems or customer specific requirements.
Carry out product measurements using the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and laser scanner.
Ensure that all reports are formatted to requirements analysis completed prior to distribution.
Ensure adherence to internal timing plans for measurement programs.
Coach and guide others on the correct use of gauging in the manufacturing environment.
Coordinate measurement systems analysis and statistical process control studies.

Metrology Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Degree, HND or HNC in an engineering or technical discipline.
Works with precision and attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of coordinate measurement machines (CMM) and the use of PCDIMS (or similar) software.
Experience with optical measurement.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Experience with problem solving techniques.
Minimum 2 years’ service in a similar role.
