Customer Service/Sales Administrator, Pill/Ham Green, Bristol - £25k base with quarterly bonus - OTE £28 - 30k

Rapidly growing market leader in commercial/vehicle sales and leasing, are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Administrator to join them. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and customer service support to the sales team. Working Monday to Friday, flexibility to work either 8.30am - 5pm or 9am - 5.30pm. Please note, there are limited public transport routes to their offices, therefore you will need to be able to drive, or be on the X4 Bristol to Portishead bus route.

The successful candidate needs to be proactive and comfortable getting on the phone and speaking to people, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support and assistance throughout their van leasing or purchasing journey. This role requires excellent communication skills, handling inbound and outbound customer calls efficiently and professionally.

If you are motivated by earnings then this is an advantage as you will be eager to earn the attractive quarterly bonus! This is not a call centre and this is not a sales role, the vehicles are sold via the sales team, however, the role of the Customer Service/Sales Administrator is to keep in contact with the customer and the dealership to keep on track of the process to ensure the vehicles are delivered as scheduled.

Duties of the Customer Service/Sales Administrator include:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, regarding van leasing and purchasing options.
  • Process customer information, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex cases to the Team Leader when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient customer transactions.
  • Update customer records and manage customer interactions using the company’s CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers post-transaction to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer service experience.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience using CRM would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to develop working relationships
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Experience within the motor trade is not required however previous experience in an administration or customer service related role is desired.
