Pay Rate: 14.19/hour
Hours: Full-time

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 (30 min lunch break)
  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:00 (30 min lunch break)

Contract Duration: Until 31/03/2025 (extension subject to performance and budget)

About the Role

This role combines back-office administrative tasks with reception duties. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting the clinical output of three key departments.

As part of a supportive team, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of daily administrative functions, providing vital support to clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Office Managers with day-to-day administration tasks.
  • Managing patient referrals, appointments, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Ensuring patients receive exceptional service with fairness, dignity, and privacy.
  • Undertaking general reception duties, including patient interactions, answering calls, and filing.
  • Adhering to departmental policies, such as the clear desk policy.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Have five GCSEs (Grade C or above), including English, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or have relevant clerical experience.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to using internal systems (training provided).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Excel in organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
