- Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries.
- Conduct risk assessments, plan audit procedures, and execute audits in accordance with regulatory standards and firm policies.
- Oversee and guide audit teams, providing coaching and mentorship to junior team members.
- Analyse financial statements, identify areas of improvement and provide valuable recommendations to enhance clients' internal controls and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance during audits.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and delivering personalised solutions.
- Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies, drive business growth, and identify new opportunities.
- Minimum four years of experience in public practice auditing, preferably at a mid to senior level.
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using auditing software.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
