Tezlom, a leading agency in health and social care for number of years, are currently recruiting for an activity coordinator who is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives. An activity coordinator, dedicated to creating a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere for residents by organising exciting events and hobbies that residents will love. Think arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and even pub quizzes. This includes group events or individual sessions.

Job Details:

Location-Pinner, London

Job Type: Temp to perm

Number of Hrs-37.5 hrs per week

Timings: Mon-Fri8am-6pm

Main Duties:

  • Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
  • Talking with residents about the types of activities they’d like to do
  • Organising activities that are tailored to the needs and abilities of individuals, as well as group activities that will bring individuals together
  • Booking external suppliers to provide entertainment
  • Organising trips out in the local community, considering transport arrangements and accessibility
  • Assisting people to take part in activities.
  • Organising birthday surprises for our residents
  • Covering the duties of health care assistant as and when required
  • Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
  • Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
  • Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
