This is an opportunity to work directly within the Purchasing Team to ensure there is a smooth confirmation of booking from go-ahead stage to deadline.

You will be working with Worldwide hotel group bookings from confirmations to negotiations when required for special requests.

Ensuring a smooth confirmation of booking from go-ahead stage to the deadline, ensuring that a high standard of service is provided at all times.

Group reservations duties:

  • Handling each group from booking stage to confirmation to Sales/Operation team
  • Booking hotels within the required budgets and close the booking properly with rates and conditions
  • Ensuring confirmations of services are received within an acceptable time frame.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to maintain profitability levels and increase where possible.
  • Ensuring all correspondence is filed electronically
  • Research & plan for difficult bookings in advance of the Operation
  • Liaise with different suppliers/Hoteliers and develop excellent working relationships with them. Coordinate with contracting & accounting teams (internally).

Group Reservations experience:

  • Our client is seeking the individual to come from a Hotel reservations or Tour Operations background in travel.
  • Good knowledge of European destinations
  • Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with suppliers
  • Language Skills - Italian / Spanish / French / German) would be an advantage.
