About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a supportive secondary school environment? LTF Recruitment is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a large, well-regarded secondary school located in the heart of Harrow, close to Harrow-on-the-Hill Station. This school is known for its inclusive culture, modern facilities, and commitment to student achievement and well-being, offering a vibrant setting for both staff and students.

In this role, you will work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing both academic and emotional support to help them succeed. You'll assist teachers in the classroom, offer 1:1 and small group support, and play a key role in creating a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support within the classroom, helping students remain engaged and on task
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group assistance for students who need additional academic help
  • Work with students with SEN to ensure they have full access to the curriculum
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCo as required

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN
