Role Overview:
SMART EDUCATION is seeking a Pastoral Support Professional to provide additional assistance within primary and high schools in Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students' well-being and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the sixth-form area.
- Offering one-to-one and group support to students with pastoral needs.
- Serving as the first point of contact for pastoral concerns.
- Completing essential administrative tasks to support the pastoral team.
- Maintaining attendance records and addressing poor attendance.
- Collaborating with school staff to promote a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- At least 6 months of experience in pastoral support roles and working within a school setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Details of the Role:
- Salary: £85.23–£105.21 per day, depending on experience.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only.
- Location: Pershore.
- Start Date: Spring 1, initially.
- Interviews: Immediate availability for interviews.
