Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working in partnership with an Pinxton based concrete casting company, assisting their search for a Precast Concrete Supervisor to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a physically intense, manual job and ideally the right candidate will have some experience working in a concrete based environment.
The Job:
- Using a semi dry mix to manually make concrete castings
- Stripping castings out of moulds
- Quality checking and ensuring all products are up to spec, without any cracks or defects
- Training new hires
- Creating and managing team schedules
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback
About You:
- Supervisory expereince and leadership skills
- Experience working in a concrete casting (wet or dry) environment
- Comfortable with manual labouring and heavy lifting
- Looking for a long term opportunity
- Hands on approach and an eye for detail
- Flexible working pattern
The Pay:
£15 per hour, overtime rates for weekedn work where completed
The Hours:
Monday - Friday, between the hours of 5:00am - 2:30pm. Saturdays & Sundays as and when required.
