  • Duties: Performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting machinery issues, collaborating with production operators, maintaining accurate records, recommending improvements, assisting in installation and commissioning, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, participating in continuous improvement initiatives

Our client, a manufacturing company situated near Pinxton, Nottingham, has recently undergone substantial expansion and development, bolstered by a £3 million investment. They are now actively looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team.

Shift Pattern

  • Week 1: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm
  • Week 2: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm
  • Week 3: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm
  • Week 4: Sunday – Thursday, 10pm – 6am

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot machinery issues to identify root causes and perform repairs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritise and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and recommend improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
