Their innovative approach and considerable R&D budget has consolidated their strong position and as a result they are looking to bolster their senior leadership team with a pragmatic and forward thinking Manufacturing Manager.
Description
The Manufacturing Manager will report into the directorship with end to end responsibility for planning, production, maintenance, QHSE and distribution. The role will lead a small team of 8 and the position will require a mix of hands-on coordination alongside strategic decision making as the business look to build operational control and develop capacity.
Day to day responsibility will include:
- Identify and deliver a clear production strategy developing ownership through the operation
- Work closely with the Technical function to develop the the commericalisation of new product
- Challenge existing ways of working tom crease capacity and integrate data-led decision making
- Lead best in class Health & Safety
Profile
The successful Manufacturing Manager should possess a range of the following:
- Strong demonstrable leadership / coordination experience within SME manufacturing
- A pragmatic approach and an analytical skill set
- Comprehension of ISO standards
- Examples of developing ownership and capacity
- Strong comprehension of a customer focused operation
- Ideally a technical background
