Customer Account Coordinator

Permanent - NG16 area

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/support customer performance reviews to strengthen relationships and monitor performance.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations, raising concerns with the Account Manager as needed.
  • Assist production controllers in setting and achieving customer account objectives.
  • Manage the internal sales manifest and support the team in meeting weekly targets.
  • Maintain and distribute Customer Scorecards, working with the Account and Production Managers to develop recovery plans.
  • Update ERP systems with customer order changes (delivery dates, quantities) to ensure accurate production scheduling.
  • Coordinate awareness of new product introductions and sales opportunities relevant to customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate electronic order books, ensuring records align with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve company and customer objectives.
  • Support compliance with UK export regulations, conduct internal audits, and assist with corrective actions if needed.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance company performance.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance in line with company policy and legislation.
  • Track and record delivery performance to customers.
  • Perform any other duties as required.


Key Skills :
  • Experience managing customer accounts and conducting business reviews (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, email, and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.
