Head of Finance - Pitlochry

Leading retail client is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team. Financial Controllers or Senior Finance Managers will also be considered.

Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, managing a team of 6 across accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with other departments to optimise financial processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Monitor cash flow and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organisational goals.
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Stay up-to-date on financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Supervise and support accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.


Qualifications:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE will be considered
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
