We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior position on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Plymouth. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, assisting with client queries, and supporting the senior team with a varied portfolio of clients. This position would suit a candidate with prior experience in a UK accountancy practice, who is either AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Supporting senior team members with tax compliance and advisory work
  • Assisting with management accounts preparation
  • Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
  • Supporting junior staff and assisting with their development

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or ACA student (or QBE)
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality work
