Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Plymouth to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, expanding their expertise in accounts preparation, tax, and bookkeeping, and taking on increasing responsibility within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts
  • Assisting with tax computations and VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients and providing high-quality service and support
  • Supporting senior team members with ad hoc accounting tasks
  • Utilising accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
Skills & Experience:
  • Studying towards or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (AAT qualified and QBE candidates also considered)
  • At least two years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in accounts preparation and tax
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Good working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software
