Butler Rose is pleased to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for a successful business in Plymouth on an exclusive basis. This is a hybrid working role.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is an important position where you will work closely with the wider finance team.
Key duties will include:
- Statutory accounts preparation and audit queries
- Cash flow forecasts
- Providing required information to HMRC and national statistics
- Monitor and improve financial controls as necessary
- Tax returns and tax compliance
- Involvement in budgeting and forecasting
- Providing financial information to the wider business as required
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Involvement in month end process to ensure timely preparation of management accounts
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong IT skills including Excel. This role would equally suit a practice leaver or someone already in industry looking to make a move.
