The clients mission is to provide comprehensive support and services to enhance the quality of life for those that the organisation serve.Role Overview: Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to join the team of a Plymouth-based charity organisation. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the charity. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving our financial processes, monitoring systems, and reporting structures.Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the charity's financial processes, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Assess the finance team's roles, communication expectations, escalation protocols, and reporting structure.
  • Develop and implement a financial management improvement plan.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally qualified (CIMA / ACA / ACCA).
  • Consideration will be given to Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates with relevant experience.
