This is a full-time, hybrid role with an immediate start, expected to last up to 9 months, with the potential for extension. The organisation in question is a large retail organisation, with stores across the country.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Support internal and external audits
- Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background in retail is ideal but not essential.
- Ideally fully qualified, but QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will be considered
