Job Purpose

  • Lead a significant and diverse portfolio of tax clients.
  • Oversee the deliverables of junior tax staff, providing constructive mentorship and nurturing talent through knowledge sharing.
  • Champion professional development for junior staff, inspiring the team around you.
  • Preparation of tax computations, including complex matters.
  • Provide sound technical knowledge across tax work, offering trusted advisory.
  • Work closely with Partners to support the firm’s strategic direction, networking and scoping for new business opportunities.
  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
  • Set an example as a natural leader.
  • Provide tax support to other departments across the firm.

  • ATT, CTA, or STEP qualified with extensive tax experience within practice.
  • Previous experience overseeing and motivating a team.
  • Sound working knowledge of technical tax matters.
  • An up-to-date understanding of UK accounting standards.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
  • Natural leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
