This is a great opportunity to join a global leader in its field, working as part of a highly efficient Design team, using Solidworks and owning projects from cradle to grave.
The Role:
- Play a vital role in bringing new products to market.
- The role will focus on both the product and process development, including developing all relevant technical documentation.
- Using Solidworks, you will be responsible for both NPI and also modifying existing designs.
- You will be project managing and creating new designs, communicating with the key stakeholders, and supporting departmental knowledge and skill dissemination.
- You will also be supporting the validation and verification of designs and associated documentation.
The Candidate:
- Experience in a High precision outfit, industries such as Aeropsace, Automotive and Motorsport are of particular interest.
- Solidworks experience
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Design of Rotating Equipment
- Knowledgeable with problem solving techniques (e.g. 6 Sigma, 8D).
