Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with application engineers to turn concept designs into detailed product definitions
- Managing design projects, communicating with key stakeholders, and supporting departmental knowledge sharing
- Supporting the validation and verification of designs and related documentation
- Developing bespoke solutions while considering production methods and processes
- Contributing to both personal and professional growth with the potential to progress into roles across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or R&D
To be successful you will need:
- A Masters Degree (or equivalent) in a STEM subject such as Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Physics with a strong academic background
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks is preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of mechanical design and rotating equipment (Turning, Milling, Grinding, Precision Metrology)
- Experience in project management, business processes, and analytical tools (e.g., 6 Sigma, 8D)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
