Rates: £17 PAYE

Working from our manufacturing facility in Plymouth, with occasional site work, you will report to the Production Manager and will support the business by ensuring we remain our customer's first choice through your high quality, right first-time approach. This will be done primarily through communication and collaborative working with the manufacturing and operations teams and by ensuring you have a full working understanding of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that work practices comply with the requirements of Health & Safety at Work Act & work procedures/Business Assurance System (incorporating the Company's Health & Safety Policy).
  • To understand and comply with the Company Business Management System, Quality Manual, Company Procedures and Standards relating to Production tasks (QA forms)
  • Advise of any issues prior to the commencement of work.
  • Undertake the mechanical & electrical assembly work in accordance with procedures, instructions & engineering drawings.
  • Report problems, errors, shortages to Production Management as soon as possible.
  • Prepare finished equipment for test & Inspection.
  • As & when required, attend site to assist with site-based activities, such as installation (note, this can be UK wide). Training and/or completion of trade/competency validation may be required.
  • Help ensure that the workplace (on or off site) is exceptional in terms of cleanliness & housekeeping (based on the 6S).
  • Ensure that all tools & work equipment (benches & cases) are safe, orderly & clean.
