My client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in assisting the accounts team, primarily focusing on hauliers and managing the lorry book. This position is ideal for someone who is meticulous and organised, with a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the accounts team with the Purchase Ledger.
  • Take primary responsibility for looking after the hauliers.
  • Manage the lorry book, ensuring all lorry movements are recorded accurately.
  • Ensure that all Waybill Tracking Numbers (WTNs) have been received and are correctly documented.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a logistics or transportation environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
