My client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in assisting the accounts team, primarily focusing on hauliers and managing the lorry book. This position is ideal for someone who is meticulous and organised, with a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist the accounts team with the Purchase Ledger.
- Take primary responsibility for looking after the hauliers.
- Manage the lorry book, ensuring all lorry movements are recorded accurately.
- Ensure that all Waybill Tracking Numbers (WTNs) have been received and are correctly documented.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a logistics or transportation environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
