Randstad Education is looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join one of the beautiful schools in the Plymouth area. The successful candidate will ensure that the school is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

Carry out daily cleaning duties across the school premises, including classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.

Ensure that all high-touch surfaces are regularly sanitized in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Empty bins, manage waste disposal, and ensure recycling is properly sorted.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; polish and buff floors as required.

Replenish supplies in toilets and other areas as necessary, including soap, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper.
Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school or similar environment, is desirable but not essential.

Good understanding of cleaning methods and equipment.

Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.

Willingness to work additional hours when required, including during school holidays for deep cleaning.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff and colleagues.
