Are you the unsung cleanliness crusader who can turn grime into shine with the flick of a mop? We are on the lookout for fantastic Supply School Cleaners to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves a clean space, and enjoys the occasional challenge of removing mysterious stains. You'll be covering absences across primary, secondary, and SEND schools in the beautiful city of Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel your inner Mr or Ms Clean: keeping classrooms, corridors, and common areas spotless.
  • Vanquish dusty corners and cobwebs: performing thorough cleaning tasks.
  • Floor whisperer: sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming like a pro.
  • Bathroom boss: ensuring toilets and washrooms are pristine and well-stocked.
  • Germ terminator: sanitising high-touch surfaces to keep everyone healthy.
  • Trash tamer: emptying bins and making rubbish disappear.
  • Event saviour: tidying up after school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning work.
  • Keen eye for detail (you can spot a smudge from a mile away).
  • Physically fit and able to handle cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to step in on short notice for day-to-day cover and commit to longer-term assignments.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or the ability to get one faster than you can say "sparkle").

  • Proactive with a can-do, will-do, make-it-shine attitude.
  • Strong communicator (both with humans and stubborn stains).
  • Independent worker and team player.
