Facilities Administrator - Temporary
(3 Months) - £13/hour PAYE
Location: Plymouth (Office Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (Flexible)
Rate: £13 per hour (PAYE)
One of Plymouth’s best employers are looking for a Facilities Administrator to join their friendly team on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months to support with staff absence
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop filing systems (both manual and electronic) and carry out general admin tasks including photocopying, scanning, and shredding of confidential documents
- Handle telephone calls, direct enquiries, and take accurate messages
- Provide an accurate typing service for correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, and minutes
- Manage meeting room and conference suite bookings, including meet-and-greet duties and room setup
- Attend meetings to take and distribute minutes, ensuring confidentiality
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Issue and log ID cards and keys for staff and contractors
- Assist with stock control and replenishment of refreshment supplies
- Provide cover for light pottering tasks when required
Who We’re Looking For:
- Officer Administrative experience
- Understanding of Facilities Management
- Friendly, approachable, and easy-going
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role (this won’t be a desk job all day!)
- A good communicator with strong organisational skills
- Flexible and happy to take on a variety of tasks- not just administration
- A holder of a full UK driving licence
