The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Shifts:聽Saturday -Tuesday
Hours:聽Days 01:00-04:00
Pay Rate:聽拢13.71 PAYE PER HOUR
Location:聽Plymouth, PL6
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
路 Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
路 Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
路 Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
路 Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
路 Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
路 Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.
Requirements:
路 Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
路 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
路 No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
路 Full understanding of WTD legislation.
路 Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
路 Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 A safety-first mindset.
