We are looking for a Van Driver & Service Technician to deliver and install oxygen equipment in the homes of vulnerable individuals across the Plymouth area & parts of North Cornwall. This is more than just a driving job - it's an opportunity to provide essential support to those who need it most and meet some wonderful people along the way!
The role involves driving a van to multiple locations, you will be responsible for delivering gas canisters to vulnerable people's homes and installing and servicing home breathing apparatus. You will be required to move the oxygen canisters from the van into people's home, therefore heavy lifting will be required.
About you:
The ideal candidate will hold a full UK category B driving licence with no more than 3 points.
Experience in a similar delivery or service technician role is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and empathetically.
Basic mechanical or electrical skills are an advantage.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
A caring and professional attitude, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
