Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a major convenience store retailer in their search for a Business Development Manager to support the independent operators thrive and maximise the potential of their business. We are searching for a convenience store expert.

The role

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager that will have the tenacity and ability to support the growth of the independent convenience store estate across parts of Devon and Somerset.

* Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them inselecting those best suited to their needs.* Working with new and existing customers, ensure the best possible marketing mix (including merchandising & product placement within the stores).* Research sources and use the CRM for developing prospective customers and forinformation to determine their potential.* Develop clear and effective business plans to support the independent retailers growth.* Continually analyse the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation.* Identify prospects outside the average sales cycle and propose conclusive action plans to win or lose-quickly.* Continually identify advantages and compares organisation's products/services for customer presentations* Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends

The candidate

For our clients Business Development Manager role the successful candidate will have experience in a similar position working with independent retailers or within a Cluster or Area Manager role for a convenience store operator.

The Package

Our client can offer a salary of up to £38,000 plus bonus, car and benefits for this Business Development Manager position
