Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship/HNC qualification in relevant engineering discipline
- Working towards or have chartership status
- Experience working within multi-discipline teams on a variety of projects
- Strong communication skills
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Depth of experience across a range of commercial or defense projects

Role information:

- Manage on or more technical design packages, agreeing project objectives, manage designer performance and make appropriate technical management responses
- Provide subject matter expert advise as required
- Ensure design documentation covers the required scope of operations and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget
- Ensure processes and activities undertaken are appropriately documented with maintained records
- Ensure hazards and risks are identified and communicated to workers in order to stay in line with health and safety regulations
