Manpower Engineering are recruiting a Senior Projects Engineer with Civils experience for a well-established engineering company who for over 100 years have been trusted to deliver bespoke, highly skilled engineering services to the Marine, Lance, Aviation and Nuclear sectors.

Working for the Major Infrastructure Project directorate on a design project to upgrade our clients main dock at Devonport, you will be working closely with the Package Manager within the Water Retaining Boundary team, managing the delivery of heavy civils infrastructure design project.

The design phase of this project is expected to be completed in 2026 (2 years)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Package Manager
  • Meeting programme deadlines
  • Managing Contractor delivery
  • Managing Design Consultants
  • Overseeing and reviewing cost programmes
  • Working with schedule, commercial, cost and risk management functions ensuring that design packages are delivered on time

Skills and Experience

  • Heavy Civils Project Management
  • Managing and administering an NEC4 contract
  • Contract Management
  • Previously worked in a heavily regulated industry
  • Team Player
  • Excellent Client Facing skills

This is a remote position; however you will be expected to travel once every 6 weeks for review / progress meetings.
