ARE YOU A CNC MACHINIST WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

CNC Machinist required for a well established manufacturer who supply to a wide range of industiries across the world. They offer stable employment within a very experienced and close knit team environment.

The role would suit a general CNC machinist with the ability and willingness to work on XYZ (semi automated) and manual mills/lathes as required. It is essential that you have previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial workshop environment. Machinists must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Reporting to the Production Manager, forming part of a small shopfloor team of 8 machinists, your role will predominantly be the setting, running and operation of XYZ machinery. You will be required on occasion to move to CNC milling and manual milling/turning as required in the production of specialised engineering solutions.

Working within a small but successful manufacturer, they require individuals with a can do attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong attention to detail/work ethic. After initial company training, your role will be autonomous, working to a job list/production plan. It is essential that the successful candidate has the confidence to seek solutions to problems independently and manage their own workload, maintaining their own workspace and completing tasks to a high quality standard

CNC Machinist

*Experience working within a manufacturing environment

*Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

*Ideally have good general CNC and manual machining experience

*Machine experience will include milling and turning

*XYZ machinery experience is highly advantageous but not essential. External training can be provided for XYZ machinery if required.

*Applicants must be willing to complete paid overtime to meet customer requirements in busy periods.
