Job Title: Construction/Engineering Administrator

Location: Plymouth

Hours: Full time Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Salary: £27,000-£28,950 per annum DOE

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, contributory pension scheme, free parking

Working closely with architects, engineers and surveyors, the company ensures smooth project management with the customers' requirements firmly at the heart of their services.

The Role: Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their busy team! As a Compliance Administrator you will be contributing to a small and friendly team, playing a crucial role in ensuring all compliance processes are executed efficiently and accurately whilst providing excellent customer service to their clients. It is a diverse position that requires excellent organisational skills and attention to detail!

Key Duties

  • Downloading and processing tender information, ensuring all necessary documentation is acquired.
  • Uploading tender submissions and following the established process.
  • Maintaining company accreditations and renewing them within specified time frames.
  • Providing excellent customer service by liaising with current and prospective clients.
  • Ensuring that all documents comply with GDPR regulations.
  • Managing and updating the subcontractor database, ensuring correct and up-to-date documentation.
  • Collating site documentation, preparing site boxes, and recording/archiving returned documentation.
  • Answering telephone calls and promptly responding or redirecting them to the appropriate person.
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining diaries.
  • Monitoring the mailbox and ensuring timely responses
  • Assisting in the completion of PQQ's.

About You

  • Office Administration experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in Construction or Engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with Compliance/ISO procedures (preferred, but not essential).
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent clarity of thought and attention to detail.
  • IT literate with good communication skills and a sense of humour.
