Based on the outskirts of Plymouth this company are one of the largest manufacturing companies in the area. They specialise in the design and manufacture of specialist equipment that are supplied into a number of industries across the world.
As an H&S Manager, you will have passion Health & Safety where you will be solely responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs & initiatives across my clients world-class manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be a H&S Manager where you will have a proven background in designing, implementing & managing H&S plans across a manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to build a long-term career with an innovative manufacturing company in an autonomous, stand alone role where you will play a key part in growth and success of the business.
The Role:
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment
- Designing & delivering Health and Safety training programs to employees on H&S practices, emergency procedures and much more
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes. Address any issues identified during audits in a timely manner.
The Person:
- Health and Safety Manager from a Manufacturing background
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent is required
- H&S Manager looking for an autonomous role where you will take the lead on all H&S plans across my clients world class manufacturing facility
