Our client, with over 75 years of expertise in precision engineering, is looking for a contract Engineering Project Manager to take responsibility for delivering new products through active management of the NPI process.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and NPI processes.
- Proven ability to lead projects from initiation to delivery, working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the confidence to lead meetings and discussions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams.
- Proficiency in CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts) for tracking and reporting progress.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred) or relevant project management qualification.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering best practices is a plus.

- Proactively address and resolve project delays by coordinating with multiple departments to minimize impact on timelines.
- Drive continuous process improvement by identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the NPI process.
- Promote a culture of transparency and continuous improvement to align teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the business to forecast demand and plan for future product requirements based on trend analysis.
