Our client, a specialist compliance company working with many of the UK construction businesses is seeking a Health and Safety Trainer to join their team! The successful Health and Safety Trainer will be experienced in both live and virtual training, delivering a broad range of topics across the health and safety training field.Job details:
  • Salary £35,000-£45,000 dependent on experience

- and many more!As a Health and Safety Trainer, you will share in their passion to embrace cutting edge technology with an aim to deliver a first-class virtual training experience to their customers and employees.The Health and Safety Trainer will:
  • Work with colleagues across all departments to drive the training agenda as a product and service within the business.
  • Prepare and deliver their CITB SMSTS, SSSTS and Health and Safety Awareness training
  • Work with external bodies to develop accredited courses/schemes.
  • Stay up to date with and identify market needs and trends.
  • Assist the HR Manager in producing training needs analysis for internal employees. 
  • Build productive relationships with customers and employees.
You must have:
  • Demonstrable experience of providing virtual training lessons
  • Experience of using online Training tools.
  • Experience of working on your own initiative and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of office software e Word, excel, outlook etc.
You must be able to demonstrate occupational experience in a construction management role. This experience must demonstrate accountability for site health and safety or site management/supervision.As well as a training qualification or a CITB recognised exemption, you must also have successfully completed at least one of the following qualifications:Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health. 
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health. 
  • Health and Safety
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C and D
  • Diploma Safety Management Level 6.
Desirable:
  • Membership of Chartered Health and Safety professional (CMIOSH).
  • Experience of delivering H&S training within the construction environment.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (such as PTLLS).
