Senior Credit Controller

My client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller at their flagship business focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in credit control, looking to advance their career in a well-capitalised, high-growth company.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Drive timely debt recovery, monitor aged debt, and report on outstanding accounts to senior management.
  • Upload invoices to portals and assist with payment allocations and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely debt collection and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Resolve queries by liaising with the finance team and other departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous credit control experience is essential.
  • Experience within a construction or fire safety finance function is desirable.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent finance qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in using accounting software, preferably Netsuite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both on the telephone and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good customer relationship building skills.
